Solutions Consultants (SCs) sit at the intersection of sales and product, acting as a trusted advisor to customers and prospects (buyers) by solving the problems their employees face daily. In the process, they influence the lives of millions of people each year, helping change their lifestyles (for the better) one habit at a time.

 

How would you like to influence (almost) every meaningful dollar that flows through the business?

Because they support both new and existing business sales, Solutions Consultants are in a unique position to strategize with buyers to develop the best programs to support their employees. In the process, they drive revenue and influence the product roadmap with the insights they have learned.

As a member of team, you will work closely with Sales Directors to help make sure that the i’s are dotted, the t’s are crossed, and that the strategy presented puts the buyer in position to solve their problems and improve the lives of employees in the process.

  • Embrace the Virgin Pulse Ecosystem
    • Work with the SCs and Sales Enablement Teams to become an expert on:
      • Each of Virgin Pulse’s product offerings
      • The vast partners ecosystem
    • Ongoing education to help ensure that the latest and greatest information is always available

  • Learn About the Buyer and the Problems They Need to Solve
    • Lead Discovery meetings to obtain an in-depth understanding of the buyer’s:
      • Priorities & Problems
      • Existing Program(s)
      • Timelines
      • Measures of success.
    • Evaluate each opportunity and prescribe the product(s) that empower people to live more full lives.

  • Work with the Sales Directors to Educate the Buyer on How Virgin Pulse Solves Their Problems
    • Work hand in hand with the Sales Directors to develop a plan for how to best help the Buyer and win the business.
    • Develop and deliver product demonstrations tailored to address the priorities and problems of the buyer.
    • Highlight the value the buyer will receive as a result of partnering with Virgin Pulse.
    • Keep up-to-date on relevant competitors, how to sell against them, and industry trends.
    • Deliver a white glove user experience by administering and managing the trial experience.
    • Research and identify answers to buyer’s questions.
    • While most of this is done online today, when the world returns to normal, these meetings will be done in person and require travel

Engage Teammates (Experts) on Behalf of the Buyer

      • Engage with peers (across teams) on technical matters to:
        • Comprehend how to solve a challenge
        • Provide thorough answers to questions or concerns
      • Anticipate potential challenges and work with colleagues to address them before they become an issue.
      • Deliver a successful client experience by documenting and sharing requirements to the Client Implementation & Client Success teams.
  • Grow the Relationship
    • Work with Client Success to identify ways to enhance/grow the programs and offerings customers offer to their employees while driving revenue for the business.
  • Innovate
    • Drive the product roadmap based on feedback from the market.
    • Work closely with members of the SC Team to analyze experiences, share feedback, and drive towards excellence.
    • Share feedback on how the market reacts to messaging with Product Marketing and Enablement to ensure that Virgin Pulse is always presenting the best version of itself

Qualifications

What you bring to the team

  • BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Marketing or other related role.
  • +6 years’ prior experience in a client services, consulting, marketing, product marketing, project management (technical), software implementation, solutions consulting or equivalent role.
  • Previously demonstrated track record of delivering results and successfully working towards targets
  • Previously demonstrated ability to make effective presentations or demonstrations in time constrained situations.
  • Previously demonstrated ability to prioritize the work in multi-tasking environment.
  • Previously demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments, and take action wherever appropriate.
  • Possesses strong selling and sales aptitude skills
  • Previously demonstrated effective verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office and Salesforce (or equivalent sales/marketing) packages
  • Prior experience in corporate health/wellbeing or HCM industry experience/knowledge required.

Adhere to industry best practice coding standards and verify all code developed at Virgin Pulse is free from bugs and security vulnerabilities such as those defined and published by OWASP.
