This position is located in the UK and can be in Leeds/Yorkshire or remotely located in the UK. 


Who you are

This position will be based in the UK and will report to the Senior Director, Client Success, Virgin Pulse.   The Wellness Program Manager will work with Virgin Pulse, and Dell Technologies in the design and delivery of a comprehensive approach to improving team member health & wellness. This individual will provide advocacy for Virgin Pulse products and demonstrate Virgin Pulse’s mission of Changing Lives for Good.  Limited travel may be required as deemed safe by local jurisdictions.


The Wellness Program Manager will lead all efforts as it relates to Virgin Pulse (products and services). This will include, but is not limited to, supporting a team of Virgin Pulse Wellness Coordinator(s). The Wellness Program Manager will work with Dell extended Virgin Pulse team to create, organize, market and implement virtual and onsite wellness programs that address the health needs of the team member population. They will play a key role in the implementation of engagement strategies in the Virgin Pulse platform for Dell’s global population. Additionally, the Wellness Program Manager will work closely with country/region based stakeholders, wellness committees/departments and wellness champions to create integrated programming designed to support a culture of health, improving the awareness of health issues as well as creating opportunities for Dell’s team members to engage in healthy activities. This individual will be qualified and have the resources to answer all the questions about Virgin Pulse and its partner programs and services that Dell Technologies has implemented. 


In this role you will wear many hats but your skills will be especially essential in the following:  

  • Support a team of Wellness Coordinator(s)
  • Serve as part of the team implementing engagement strategies in Dell’s Virgin Pulse platform
  • Partner with the Dell wellness team in the evolvement of Dell’s Global Wellness Champion Network and regional wellness committees
  • Support launch/renewal planning as necessary
  • Identify opportunities to integrate wellness into Dell’s culture
  • Monitor, evaluate and respond to program measurements, including operations and quality, to drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and goals
  • Engage Dell leadership to support a culture of wellness
  • Collaborate with Dell and Virgin Pulse account leadership, to drive engagement in healthy activities for non-US population.
  • Partner with Dell and Virgin Pulse to Create, coordinate and implement wellness strategy and initiatives for non-US population
  • Develop and leverage partnerships with other vendors and internal/external committees.
  • Utilize operational metrics to define, track and report on program activities, participation and results
  • Facilitate ongoing Dell committee/group/network meetings
  • Manage trending feedback from Dell contacts
  • Participate in ongoing client discussions


What you bring to the team


  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in health promotion, psychology, social work or other health related field
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources/Health Promotion preferred


  • 5+ years’ experience in fields related to health and wellness
  • 2 -3 years’ experience in business environment
  • Experience working with Global Corporate Wellness preferred


  • Ability to initiate and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Previous management, development and mentorship experience required
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with internal/external partners
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding ability to deliver presentations at all levels within an organization; both small and large group
  • Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service-orientation and analytical skills
  • Strong and creative problem solving with critical thinking skills to work through complex challenges
  • Bring forth creative solutions and wellness content
  • Adept at Excel, data analytics, forecasting
