Who are you?
The Senior Manager, Revenue Operations will be building and leading the day-to-day accounting and operations of our billing functions and serve as a partner to those charged with reconciling/recording to ensure alignment. Your primary responsibilities will be to oversee all core revenue billing aspects including order to cash operations, assisting with month end close, and financial reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in an established revenue function and be able to work seamlessly with cross-functional partners in a hyper growth environment. This role will report to the VP of Accounting and you should expect to play a foundational role in building a strong and successful accounting organization.
In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:
Manage the revenue accounting, billing, and credit/collections functions within the quote to cash business processes
Manage and mentor the Billing team responsible for billing operations
Partner w/ those charged with recording of revenue to ensure reconciliation between billing records and revenue recorded.
Ensure timely and accurate closing of the books for internal and external reporting requirements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Partner closely with Sales, Sales Operations, and Legal teams on all aspects of revenue, including non-standard contract terms and billing arrangements
Serve as the business lead in regards to billing processes in new accounting system (NetSuite) and spearhead process improvements through automation
Work cross-functionally with various business owners to drive process improvements and automation into the order to cash processes, bringing best in class practices and creative solutions to accounting operations
Serve as a partner with the Corporate Accounting team to support all financial reporting and external audit requirements related to revenue
Participate in discussions with business stakeholders to develop recommended changes to and support the deployment of company's sales process and policies or revenue recognition policy
Actively drive revenue related process improvement initiatives
Assist director in building a scalable organizational model that can support the needs of the business today and in the future
Ability to resolve moderately complex accounting and operational problems with minimal supervision
Manage and participate in ad hoc projects as necessary

Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, including the ability to research accounting literature and simplify complex situations
Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written) and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels at the company

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for 10% target bonus/variable compensation as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
